I blame the "Dodd-Frank Act" for a whole lot of this. Way to go, Congress!
Just like the "Inflation Reduction Act", it sounded good, and was
anything but. Again, way to go, Congress!
Both were very damaging examples of government overreach.
Congress should not be allowed to conglomerate many disparate wants into
one bill of needs. They should vote on every damned one of them, one at
a time. That way, they'd all earn their taxpayer money.
