Possibly tl;dr.  The synopsis is Hector Martin resigned from the Asahi 
Linux project to port Linux to the M1 processor. The project had many 
frustrations but the proximate cause of his resignation was a fight with 
Torvalds over the use of Rust in the kernel not a woke thing.
