I usually have several Konsole tabs open. That's particularly handy when working with different Python venvs. Even with VS Code I usually kick it off from the command line. This isn't only Linux. I do the same thing with Windows Terminal. Sometimes one of the tabs is a Linux shell and there is often another Terminal instance running as Administrator.
