At least for programmers VS Code has been very successful and that is built with Electron. For that matter Edge v1.0 was a piece of crap before they sucked it up and used Chromium for the v2.0 base. "The button says 'Quit'. It should say 'Exit'". Or maybe it was the other way around. That wasn't altogether bad. Friday afternoon when you didn't want to jump into some dark hole you could whip out 3 or 4 bugs.
