For what it's worth, I wouldn't really classify "The Last of Us" as a
horror game. Yes, it has zombies but the focus is more on action (and
the story) than scares. Honestly, "Diablo" had a creepier atmosphere
than "The Last of Us". Gameplay-wise, it's more akin to a slightly
subdued "Uncharted" (or more story-focused "Tomb Raider") than your
typical horror game.
