C'est le plus connu des monuments qu'il a fait détruire pour élargir la 
chaussée, comme Haussmann l'avait fait à Paris, mais ce n'est pas le 
seul. En plus, la cathédrale a été reconstruite à l'identique dans les 
années 90.
