Photoshop can mop up the ignoramus dregs. ImageMagick supports up to 64-bit floating point (true double) image formats. Photoshop, as already reported, lags WAY behind with a measly 32-bit integer. Big fucking deal. ImageMagick has no GUI and that will keep the Photoshop idiots well away, even if they COULD approach the wielding of its superb capabilities, which they cannot. GNU/Linux/FOSS: made for competent professionals. Adobe Photoshop: made for pseudo-artistic imbeciles. Cue the retards to desperately attempt to overturn the undeniable. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! -- Systemd: solving all the problems that you never knew you had.
