For me this is very unacceptable. With my GNU/Linux window manager, I can configure that the focus granted will also not raise the window, and this will greatly facilitate copy/paste operations. To be clear, there are two issues here: 1) Granting focus to the chosen window 2) Mandating whether or not the window that is granted focus will be raised or not.
