Only Gentoo offers true choice, as does the long-running Linux From Scratch. But it is not enough to just whine on Usenet. One must get actively involved in the FSF and other FOSS projects and attempt to enforce the freedom concept. I must admit that I am guilty in not taking this active approach. However, from what I have experienced, taking a stand against the loss of freedom is likely to be a very uphill battle. -- Systemd: solving all the problems that you never knew you had.
