If you walk into any library on planet Earth you will find the
millions of books classified according to accepted library science
standards.

Those same standards should be applied to any personal data
collection.  There should be no constant "evolution."

But you can certainly do as you prefer with your own data
files.

Backup software, however, does not discriminate.
