Aucun lien direct car le sionisme est né bien avant la Shoah, vers la fin 
du XIXe siècle. Mais elle a évidemment accéléré la migration des 
juifs d'Europe vers la Palestine et, partant, la création de l'État 
d'Israël.

Les Juifs représentaient 17% de la population palestinienne en 1931 et 
33% en 1948.
