Of course they are staying silent. I bet most agree with Whitford but
they are businessmen running large companies are going to do what is
best for the company. In this case it means staying on Trump's good
side which is why you saw so many of them standing beside Trump when I
doubt any of them truly like the man. Hell even Musk has started to
speak out against some of what Trump is doing such as the tariffs. 
To expect someone like Bezos to do something that would hurt Amazon is
really asking too much. I'm sure he does care about his workers since
his business depends upon them, but not at the cost of hurting the
bottom line.
