The recent mention of Beethoven's 6th reminded me of a distant memory
I have of hearing it for the first time as a child in 1960's England
and recognising a theme from it as one I knew from a TV show or
perhaps a radio show.

I decided to try and find out which show it was, but much Googling
has not turned up anything, so I'm wondering if my memory is playing
tricks on me.

Long shot, but does anyone here know of an old UK children's TV or
radio show that used a theme from Beethoven's 6th. I think I was
about five, so it would have been a show for young children.
