  it's a massive waste of energy and useless without
electricity aside from it being too easily hacked,
stolen and not recoverable if lost or somehow corrupted.

  though i must admit at least in recent times they've
gotten better at tracking some of it so at least that
aspect makes it not quite so hidden or secretive as
originally intended.
