Qu'en est-il de ces "It is I who wants" (qui ne se trouvent pas en 
anglais²) ? En examinant les sources, je trouve qu'ils viennent de 
contextes où l'on adopte un point de vue hors de soi, p.e. :

"I am an 'I'. It is /I/ who wants to live and it is /I/ who wants the 
whole thing to mean something" - 'Apologising for God', Mark S.
