There are different Muslim sects. Some are much less aggressive than others. The Shiites, for example, aren't usually the "head choppers," that's nearly always the Sunnis. Guess which ones the U.S. cuddles up to? Jews in Iran, for example, are not persecuted so long as they identify as Iranians and not Zionists (Israelis).
