Hi Andrew, I think we've bumped into each other from time to time over the years. In case I've never said so, I also appreciate your thoughful contributions to the community. Thank you! I started on Usenet in the early 90s via a shell account on a VMS/DEC system that soon after morphed to a unix platform. I think I started using slrn soon after, so it's probably been close to 30 years. I'm sure you're aware of other Usenet options, but I keep access via various shell accounts. Panix has one for a fair price, and the newsfeed is included. Nyx has a free option, and I think they're still alive and kicking. -- Ted Heise <theise@panix.com> West Lafayette, IN, USA
