The ones on the left do so as part of their support of foreign terror organizations, which is very unwise as it could lead to various legal entanglements. The one on the right do as a result of their membership in domestic terror organizations, which is just as unwise for the same reason. But then wing-nuts are particularly bright, however well-educated they may be. I have long noted that wing-nuts exist on all sides. But only the Republicans have actually nominated two of them for President/VP. Note: this is pre-Democratic convention, which means that the Democrats haven't nominated /anybody/ yet. And, if you think Kamala is written in stone, well, Joe was written in the same stone up until quite recently.
