L'utilisateur final ou l'int�grateur peut choisir une version ult�rieure
de la GPL si �a l'arrange.

Je ne me rappelais plus si �a figurait dans la GPL ou non, � voir non.
C'est une information importante.

Ceci figure dans la GPLv2, section 9:

"If the Program specifies a version number of this License which applies
to it and "any later version", you have the option of following the
terms and conditions either of that version or of any later version
published by the Free Software Foundation.  If the Program does not
specify a version number of this License, you may choose any version
ever published by the Free Software Foundation."

Donc dire "GPL" seul permet � l'utilisateur final ou � l'int�grateur de
choisir n'importe quelle version qui l'arrange. Et si c'est GPLv2, s'il
y a effectivement "or any later version", c'est aussi possible.

PS: en passant, je suis aller regarder l'�tat des licences actuel du
kernel Linux, et ce n'est plus uniquement GPL (GPLv2 est marqu�
"pr�f�r�", mais il y a des composants en MPL ou BSD, apparemment; ce qui
ne pose pas de probl�me vu que ces licences sont compatibles avec la
GPL).

Dans le cadre du kernel Linux, le fichier GPLv2 contient toutefois
l'identificateur SPDX "Valid-License-Identifier: GPL-2.0-or-later" (mais
il y a aussi le "only"), et le fichier COPYING � la racine dit ceci:
"Being under the terms of the GNU General Public License version 2
only". Il y a donc une petite contradiction qui occupera peut-�tre les
avocats un jour :->

L'exception syscall reste et est document�e (un programme propri�taire a
le droit d'appeler les syscalls du kernel Linux, qui ne sont pas
consid�r�s comme du "linkage" ici).

C'est plus propre que dans mes souvenirs, modulo l'impr�cision sur le
"or later".
