Dans ma phrase ci-dessus, 'new' est un adjectif qui qualifie le pronom 
'you'.

Les sens de 'novice' et 'newcomer' se chevauchent, mais il y a bien du 
boulot pour les deux. 'Novice' veut dire 'beginner', qui est 
inexpérimenté. 'Newcomer' veut dire 'qui vient juste de venir'.

     The plumber was a novice and made a mess of our bathroom.

     The villagers didn't like newcomers.
