I don't plan to build anything big enough (and safe enough) support the weight of kids or adults. One "bundle" of green oak firewood is about all I plan to drag up the hill. Maybe 60 lbs at most. I don't plan to build a funicular tram, trolley or cable car: <https://www.google.com/search?q=funicular+tram&tbm=isch> However, some of the kits and DIY project look interesting: <https://www.google.com/search?q=funicular+tram+diy&tbm=isch> <https://thedockdoctors.com/hillside-trolleys> <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqFtr4qP-64> Incidentally, seasoned oak firewood weighs about 6,000 lbs. I'll be lifting 2 cords or 12,000 lbs. If I burn firewood 180 days/year, that will be roughly 67 pounds per day to lift. -- Jeff Liebermann jeffl@cruzio.com PO Box 272 http://www.LearnByDestroying.com Ben Lomond CA 95005-0272 Skype: JeffLiebermann AE6KS 831-336-2558
