When I first read that I thought you meant LMN was showing a series of
movies where people were kidnapped in the Grand Canyon. I wouldn't put
it past them turning that into its' own genre.

I watched:

The Equalizer - "Blind Justice" - I really did not follow the plot of
this one! All I got was a mustach twirling villain (I"m pretty sure an
actor from "Oz" but I forget his name) murdered a guy for reasons. And
Krondon (Tobias Whale from Black Lightning) was mixed up in it somehow.
I also noticed that Krondon's character in this episode was blind and
he's also playing a blind character on Halo. It made me start to wonder
if he went blind in real life or not. But I couldn't find anything
online about it.

Shōgun (FX) - "Tomorrow is Tomorrow" - Episode 3. Lots happened. Just
don't ask me what. I am enjoying the show, but I really struggle to
follow what's happening. The odd thing is I headed over to Wiki and
read some really long episode recaps and everything in the recap I knew.
I guess the issue isn't I'm not following the overall plot structure.
I'm following that fine. It's the little things like character names
and what side they are on. So in any given scene unless it's one of the
three main leads I rarely know what's going on. Every time there is a
fight scene I never know which side(s) is fighting or who won at the
end. Yet I'm still following the show well enough that there was
nothing in the Wiki recaps that I didn't already know. And thanks to
the wiki article I learned that they are doing recaps at the end of the
episode to explain to the audience what just happened. I caught the one
at the end of the third and it was basically a recap of the first three
episodes only in English.

Survivor - "Scorpio Energy" - This was only notable for a wild tribal
counsel where one of the said out loud who do I vote for. He was
begging them to tell him what to do. I'm not doing it justice but
withing the context of the episode it was something.
