Sleepy Uncle Joe killed my Wheel of Fortune watching for the day, but I
did get through soaps, and an LMN movie:

soaps: Wed's ep's.
DOOL - "Everett Lynch" has his first session with Marlena - oh yeah,
this is definitely multiple personality land! E.G. Everett's "name" is
his real middle name, and his mother's maiden name! Later, Everett spies
Stephanie and Chad hugging, and gets the wrong idea - has "Bobby Stein"
just emerged!?! Brady confronts Nicole about what dumb Holly remembers,
and later Holly categorically denies to Nicole that Tate got her the
drugs but still fails to confess that the drugs were hers. Brady tells
Tate that Holly is awake, but has not exonerated him. Sarah tells Xander
that Harris has not exonerated him yet (either!).
GH - Everyone shows up at the hospital, including Olivia and Sam, as
Dante goes into surgery. Meanwhile, Ava and Spinelli review the
surveillance tape from the attempted assassination, and are stunned to
observe Jason with the would-be assassin. Ava runs off to show Sonny the
footage. Maxie chews out Cody and Sasha for meddling in her love life,
but they can't understand why Maxie won't forgive Spinelli; later, Maxie
goes to talk to Spinelli, and finds him stunned at what he saw on the
surveillance footage.

Blackmail, Lies & Murder (LMN) - This was mostly OK - it felt darker
than most of Lifetime's stuff.
Spin-class instructor and widowed mom (Kelsey McKean) to a surly
teen (Jana Skorpen), and with a mother-in-law straight out of hell,
crosses paths with the abused wife (Lauren Pike) of a raging
restaurateur (Nick Ritacco). The abused wife suggests a "Strangers on a
Train" scenario (she seems to have been plotting this scenario from the
get-go!), but the spin-class instructor is decidedly less than keen on
the idea.
That doesn't stop the abused wife from killing the spin-class
instructor's mother-in-law anyway!!
From then on, it's full-court press on the spin-class instructor to
square the deal by murdering the abusive restaurateur husband!
They had a chance here to really, really depart from the usual
tropes, and deliver a gangbusters ending. And they almost do. But they
totally chicken out at the end, which kind of ruined the rest of the
movie for me.
It's too bad, because a totally "Go for it!" ending would have made
this one much, much better than the average Lifetime flick. But with the
ending we got, this one ends up being decidedly "mid"...

What did you watch?
