You enter a building where there is an active riot going on, you know
you're breaking the law.

You go in through a broken door, you know you're committing a crime too.

You go in through a broken window, you know you're committing a crime too.

You go into a room full of people committing crimes, you know you're
committing a crime too.

It isn't hard to recognize an ongoing riot. Just look for the bloody
cops, broken glass and calls for assassination of the VP.

The rioters aren't having much success because judges and juries aren't
as stupid as the criminals you defend.
