I've said this before here that the AI that I meant is not the AI that's being developed right now. Cro-magnons cannot do the real thing because cro-magnons are afraid of people who are better than them. You won't see the real AI ever developed by cro-magnons. You will see it developed eventually, when science and tech goes where they belong. For cro-magnons, a real AI isn't "illegal" like in that story; it's their "enemy".
