Dave is saying he has an enduring crush on SP and can’t let them go away,
and so by continually responding with drivel continues to seek the
attention from SP that he craves.

I think. Impossible to be sure as Dave never answers with enough words to
be sure of his meaning.

This one is a little clearer. Dave learned long ago from Doctor Who that
words can evolve over time. 

Therefore it is 100% certain in Dave’s head that the names of one of the
goddesses Ishtar, Astarte and Ashtoreth (mentioned in ancient writings
though only one of them is mentioned even in passing in the Bible, and no,
it isn’t Ishtar) mutated into Ostara or Eostre, or both, despite no real
evidence for the latter goddesses ever even existing or being worshipped,
and no indication that worship of the first three in the Middle East ever
migrated north or west.

There isn’t even any evidence that Ishtar, Astarte and Ashtoreth are
actually the same goddess. But perhaps there’s something in that, in the
same way that every Joshua, Jesus, Judas, Judah, Joshua, Joseph, Ziggy and
James in the Bible are actually the same person due to the shift. (Ziggy
was of course itself a shift from Jiggy, but this was considered possibly
racist even in Samaria).

We can similarly be certain that the meals meatball pizza, and chicken
escalopes, should be constructed in the shape of a stepped pyramid as, due
to the shift, we know that meatball pizza actually derives from “Macchu
Pichu” and chicken escalope from “Chichen Itza”.

Also that “raging imbecile” later shifted into “raging yisablee”, later
“rage yidaslee” finally settling into its current form of “Dave Yadalee”,
retaining its original meaning throughout.
