20 years?! I think there's a "k" missing. According to 
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milky_Way#Sun's_location_and_neighborhood>, 
the sun is 26 - 27 kly from the centre of the galaxy.

Or are you proposing FTL speeds?
