I thought from context that the man in question was an American. If
that's not the case, then my comment about how this should have caused a
diplomatic incident was irrelevant.

In any event, every nation, not just the United States, needs to protect
speech like our courts are supposed to, so that their own citizens may
enjoy minimal liberty.
