I tried to learn Mandarin for a few weeks, but the fact that google was=20
unable to understand what I said 90% of the time convinced me that it=20
was hopeless.  It worked for French, Spanish and German, but not=20
Mandarin. I am apparently reasonably good at imitating language sounds,=20
but not Mandarin.  Or else google is not good at hearing them.
