If you’re going to point out historical mistakes, there’s a much, much bigger one than minor details technical about the recording equipment. If that was London in early 1963, then why wasn’t there snow piled up on the ground everywhere? This was the worst winter of the 20th century, but no sign of that in the episode! Even if you try to blame it on Maestro changing history, that just opens up more problems. As the Doctor explains to Ruby, he lived through the original version of this time. He should’ve been surprised and confused when he stepped out of the TARDIS and found the wrong weather. And he definitely shouldn’t’ve let Ruby go out in clothes more suitable for summer than a cold February. Those would’ve been genuine, serious complaints about the episode. But instead you ignore them silly, irrelevant details. You really need to learn to look beyond your own personal obsessions! -- solar penguin
