I never even bothered to see 9 to 5 -- in the theater or later on TV, lol.

On Golden Pond (a true classic and a cultural event) was probably where 
I first became solidly acquainted with him.

I watched at least some early episodes of Mary Hartman and if I saw him 
on that I soon forgot about him.

Kind of like one time when I was rewatching The Bounty and thought 
"I'll be damned, that's Liam Neeson."
