That was my experience with the last provider who offered Usenet (in the early or mid 2000's). They contracted to another company for Usenet, I would tell them that Usenet was NOT working and they would refer me to the contracting company who NEVER responded. That's when I went with the German outfit (which eventually became individual.net and became a paid service). I tried to pay them but the billing outfit they were using didn't like something about my debit card — so I ended up going to eternal-september (another German outfit). I've been with them ever since. -- [Self-centered, Woke] "pride is a life of self-destructive fakery, an entrapment to a false and self-created matrix of twisted unreality."
