That 535 cost as much as a Chevrolet > at the time. I first used one when I was 10 or 11, in my sister’s freshman physics lab. (Physics 110 at UBC, probably fall 1970.) I remember that it had delayed sweep , and wasn’t anything too fancy otherwise, so it was probably a 522 or something like that. (The lab session was about learning how to use the scope, which was pretty cool.)
