I watched:

Code Name: Emerald (TCM) 1985 WWII movie starring Eric Stoltz as an
American POW being held by Nazis who are trying to trick him into
revealing plans for D-Day. The allies planted a fake medical report
that keeps the Nazis from torturing him. Ed Harris stars as a double
agent brought in by the Nazis to trick Stoltz into revealing the plans.
Max von Sydow and Patrick Stewart are also featured. I never heard of
this movie before now. TCM ran a bunch of D-Day movies for the
anniversary of D-Day and this one looked interesting. I watched mainly
for the cast but It held my interest well enough.

The Cincinnati Kid (TCM) 1965 movie starring Steve McQueen as a young
card player who goes up against a seasoned pro played by Edward G.
Robinson in a high stakes game of poker. It was an OK movie but the
ending seemed very abrupt.
