Einstein's formulas work better than Newton's and that's a fact.

Why do they work better? They work better because in Newton's space
there is a fundamental error: it is an inert space that has no ability
to influence the motion of the bodies that pass through it.

Newton's space is an empty container identical to itself both when it is
near a mass and when it is far from any mass.

But space cannot be inert because it contains an infinite number of very
fast elementary particles (photons, neutrinos and so on) and these
particles, interacting with matter, cannot fail to influence the motion
of the bodies that pass through it.

With Einstein, space (which has become spacetime) is no longer inert, it
is not indifferent to what happens inside it.

Space (spacetime) transforms near the masses (it is different from when
it is far away) and becomes capable of "telling" matter how to move (in
reality it is not true that it tells it, it is not advice, it is an
order!).

That's why his formulas are more precise.
