The man's argument is:
  "In my opinion it's all because Apple told me my messages were 
   deleted when they weren't. If the message had said, 'These messages
   are deleted on this device', that would have been a clue, or 
   'These messages are deleted on this device only' that would 
   have been even better."

I have to admit, anyone who thinks an Apple device is private is missing a
few IQ points, and lacks formal education, particularly on marketing BS.

There likely is no device *less* private than an iPhone is.

Given the iPhone can't even run Tor browser privacy, and given almost
everything you do on the iPhone is logged on Apple's servers, to think that
iOS can be even half as private as Android is, is the height of stupidity.

While Android is not private - at least it's far more private than iOS is.
