I tried to point out: great if isn't a problem of yours. I personally while doing my military service at age 18 occasionally "woke up on the shoulder" when driving 100 miles from home to the base on Sunday nights. Some people have sleep apnea; a retired colleague of mine had two crashes before he stopped driving; one crash would have been prevented by "lane assist" and the other by "adaptive cruise control". > But for drunken driving it must be really helpful. In this situation, "Blind-spot mponitors" and "rear traffic assistants" seem the helpful for me; I tend to become overly cautios rather than reckless. Driving home an hour or two after a big celebration is certainly helped as well but I'd put that more in the direction of "falling asleep" (drink a glass of wine or two at 8pm and drive home after midnight).
