Unless the poster has written his post in html (which rbowman
doesn't seem to have done), the /poster/ cannot set or change
the colours that /your/ newsreader imposes upon the displayed
text.

You seem to use "BetterBird" (a Mozilla Thunderbird clone).
You should check the settings there for the colours or themes
tuning knobs.
