Thanks!  Chrome certainly uses a LOT more of everything, which perhaps=20
explains why it simply blinks out of existence every once in a while,=20
sometimes taking my 'taskbar' (fvwm95 -- it was the most complete WM=20
when I first used linux and is hand-configurable) with it.  I need to=20
look at this more closely...

Curiously enough, chrome will happily accept websites that firefox=20
absolutely refuses to deal with due to security violations.
