Je ne sais si c'est une question politique, mais je n'ai aucun doute que 
l'édition française va mal - et cela est un problème pour la langue.

.... je suis bien d'accord.

(En comparaison avec les livres anglais, les livres français sont 
maniérés, intellectuels, élitistes, et leur présentation est terne et 
peu appétissante.)

C'est vrai que la pratique française, de mettre un extrait du texte sur 
la quatrième de couverture, et bien moins utile pour juger le contenu 
que le résumé qui y figure dans le monde anglophone.

Beaucoup de livres vendus en France sont des traductions de l'anglais ou 
de l'américain. Pourquoi, et que peut-on faire pour y remédier ?
