Large swaths of data belonging to entertainment giant Disney appear to=20
have been leaked online by a hacking group claiming to protect artists'=20
rights.

The group, called Nullbulge, says it has leaked one terabyte of data=20
from "almost 10,000 channels" on Slack, a cloud-based program largely=20
used by workplaces to communicate online.

The data contains "unreleased projects, raw images and code, some=20
logins", according to a blog post from the group.

It shared screenshots of documents the group allegedly downloaded on=20
social media platform X, showing revenue from Disneyland Paris and what=20
seems to be new streaming models for Disney+.

The ABC has been unable to immediately verify this information.

Nullbulge describes itself as a "hacktivist group protecting artists'=20
rights and ensuring fair compensation for their work".

About one terabyte of data from Disney's internal Slack workplace=20
appears to have been leaked online by a hacking group claiming to=20
protect artists' rights.

The data contains "unreleased projects, raw images and code, some=20
logins", according to a blog post from the group.

What's next? Disney Australia has been contacted for comment.

The group told the Wall Street Journal it targeted Disney "due to how it =

handles artist contracts, its approach to AI, and its =E2=80=A6 pretty bl=
atant=20
disregard for the consumer".

"Disney is investigating this matter," a spokesperson told The Hollywood =

Reporter and Variety.
