Driving home from NASFiC, I must have been tired, because I turned the
wrong way onto a one-way street in Buffalo. I instantly realized my
error, and the only thing I could do was climb the sidewalk and wait for
the oncoming traffic to clear so I could make a U-turn.

This took a while, and then I saw a police car turn on its flashing
lights. I figured I was getting a ticket for sure. But instead the cop
stopped the oncoming traffic so I could make my U-turn and did nothing
else to me.

Three cheers for the Buffalo Police!
