I was on the train to nasfic and the cafe car was not able to take credit cards. Once I got to Buffalo, credit card terminals at most shops were not functioning (although the Starbucks in the hotel had brought in a Square terminal and was using that in place of their integrated POS system). ATMs of course were fine. I found hotels.com was not functioning properly and called a hotel in NYC about making a reservation change and they couldn't do it from their terminal either. But they were able to do it the next day when I called again. People trust computers too much. --scott -- "C'est un Nagra. C'est suisse, et tres, tres precis."
