I did go to see the one last April, in northern Vermont. Hotels were charging extortionate rates, and it was hard finding a Tesla charger. But crowded? The total eclipse covered a vast area, and could be seen from almost anywhere. I had a great experience. The problem came after, when most people decided to drive south right the same afternoon. The 3.5 hour drive to Boston took many 12+ hours. I stayed an extra day, and ran into very few issues. pt
