That's been true of countless discussions over the years on r.b.tech. Very few have admitted changing their views, once stated here. (Well, there have been some view changes, perhaps admitted only accidentally. Examples on request.) But I think the exercise of discussion is still educational. One can learn about the thought processes of others, weird as they might be. And that learning can be valuable in discussions outside r.b.tech, where people may not be so dogmatic in their beliefs. -- - Frank Krygowski
