:-) So much imagination, so little intellect!

Would you say Canada is more or less liberal than the U.S.? Most of your 
type seem to think it's more liberal. And yet it has lower crime rates. 
Ditto on both points for most European nations.

So data seems to link liberal national policies to lower crime rates.

On a state by state basis in the U.S., things look much the same.
In 2020, per capita murder rates were 40% higher in states won by Donald 
Trump than those won by Joe Biden.  8 of the 10 states with the highest 
murder rates in 2020 voted for the Republican presidential nominee in 
every election this century.

But right wing gun fanciers have very persistent fantasies!
