In addition, depending on how the OP uninstalled the original app base.apk
is or may very well still be there in his privileged system as uninstalling
a default system app as a non-root user never deletes original base.apk's.
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/11012976/how-do-i-get-the-apk-of-an-installed-app-without-root-access

If so, one of the app apk extractors might find that original base.apk.
https://play.google.com/store/search?q=apk%20extractor&c=apps

Furthermore, if the OP installed using one of the FOSS Google Play Store
apps which automatically save the installation APK, that original installer
is never deleted after installation (so it should still be available).
