I would expect the wild life is much more wild on the north side of
the GC. Especially since as far as I know the north side still shuts
down in the winter because the snow gets too much for the limited # of
visitors the north side gets. Which always seems so strange since it
only about five miles from the south side, as the crow flies, but it's
over 100 miles from the nearest town when driving.
