There are quite a few fools who have had chips implanted into their arms so they can do checkout tap-n-pay, open security doors, etc. without having to go to all the "difficultly" of taking a card out of their pocket / lanyard or using a smartwatch. There have also been a few people with disabilities that have trialed brain implant chips to allow them to regain some abilities. I don't think any have been fully successful, but some have worked better than others (Elon Musk's Neuralink trial "malfunctioned" ... unsurprisingly, just look at his failures with his rockets, his Tesla cars, etc. to know how much of an idiot he is and rushes things out to suit his own looney ideals).
