Have you ever needed to print a geographical map at high res. ?

Tonight I had to split a big high res. map (saved from
OpenStreetView, Marble project) onto A4 paper format

PosteRazor, never used before, is neat and simple and
managed to split the big source (can't remember if it was a
..png or an .svg, scalable vector) into 9 sheets of paper, at
the first attempt.
One can even define the amount of overlap of margins.

Good piece of sw for basic usage, I would recommend it.

ah : it does not prints directly, it converts the source in
a multi page .PDF, but printing PDF is easy
